Non-disclosure Agreement Before Discussing Invention

Question: Before discussing an invention to anyone, what documents should an individual have?

I have an idea about an invention that I would like to inform people about in order to receive help or advice.

Answer: Probably a non-disclosure agreement will suffice, but you can consider filing a provisional patent application as well. This could better ensure you are the first inventor to file.
