Patent and Trademark Infringement Search

Question: I have an approved Patent that we are trying to get manufactured. What must I be aware legally before proceeding?

The patent is for a new fish release tool. Legally what must I be aware of?

Answer: Though you have a patent, your making and selling of your tool might infringe another's patent. Therefore, depending on the volume of your projected sales, you might want to have performed an infringement search of other patents.

If you are selling your tool under a trademark or brand, you should consider seeking trademark registration and/or determining whether your trademark or brand might infringe another's trademark or brand.
