Question: How can I find out if a product name is already trademarked?

Question Detail: I'm creating a new software application and I'm trying to come up with a good name for it. As I have ideas I wish I could check to see if they are actually available. How can I quickly do this?

Answer: One way to see if something is already registered as a trademark is to search the trademark office database – http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=4007:949jq9.1.1
