Using a Company Name in the Same Industry

Question: Can i use a company name that's in the same industry but i reverse the name or add a unique thing?

A competing website has the name WebVantage and they do web solutions. I want to use VantageWeb. Is there a case for trademark infringement?

Answer: Whether there is infringement depends on whether there is a likelihood of confusion. That question depends on factors that not only include whether the parties compete and the similarities in words. Reversing words may or may not be sufficient to avoid infringement.
