Opinions From Different Attorneys

Question: This forum gives me the opinions of many patent attorneys. Is it illegal for me to engage more than one attorney for my case? I like to get several opinions before I act. Often I will purposely select candidates who are likely to have different opinions. Is it wrong or illegal to engage the services of two different patent attorneys from this forum to service the same case at exactly the same time?

Answer: No, it is not wrong or illegal, and can be very appropriate if you're not quite sure about trusting the opinion of the first attorney. But, eventually, you will need to choose one opinion to follow.
